Perri Birnbach

Perri joined Preferred Placement, Inc. in 2023 as a full-cycle recruiter. With over a decade of experience in the legal community, Perri utilizes the wealth of her background including legal career coaching and corporate entertainment law practice for the benefit of clients and candidates.  Perri began her legal career as an entertainment lawyer, handling a wide range of corporate transactions including mergers and acquisitions, employment, licensing, and general corporate law matters. Perri began focusing on legal career transitions and coaching in 2019, first to law students as a member of a law school’s Office of Career Services and then to lawyers and legal professionals at top AmLaw firms through private consulting. Perri received career coach training through the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Perri holds her B.A. in History from the University of Michigan and her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law. She is engaged in the profession at large, including as a member of the National Association for Law Placement (NALP) and the New City Bar Association, where she serves on the Career Advancement and Management Committee (CAM) and Women in the Legal Profession Committee (WILP).

Perri loves Pilates and yoga classes and exploring New York City with her young family and dog.
