Labor & Employment Attorney

Our client, a major company headquartered in Stamford, CT, is looking for an attorney with at least six years of experience with employment and labor law. The title is Labor & Employment Attorney and reports to Director, Legal Affairs. Responsibilities include advising management and HR on employment and labor law issues, such as leave, non-compete provisions, and negotiating collective bargaining agreements. This attorney will also assist with litigation management of employment cases and will work with outside counsel. A strong background in employment law advice and counseling is necessary and experience with negotiating collective bargaining agreements and managing union grievances is preferred. Work will be remote during the pandemic and will return to headquarters in Stamford when it is safe to do so. Occasional travel will be necessary when it is safe to do so.
